Alert officer noticed suspected drug activity on Chapman St and arrests two people for drug offenses. #gpdmass On Sunday 04/27/14 at approximately 7:40 pm Officer Scot Wests noticed three people, 2 males and a female, near Smittys Bar on Chapman St engaging in what he suspected was an illegal drug transaction. During this transaction the officer noticed that the female had slipped her hand into one of the males pocket. After a brief investigation, Officer S. West found objects of what he felt what he had probable cause to believe were illegal pills, believed to be suboxine, 6 packets of heroin, and package of crack cocaine. When the officer showed one of the male parties that suspected crack cocaine that he took out of the persons pants, he stated that the substance wasnt his and blamed the female for possibly putting it in his pants when they hugged. Arrested were the following: Nikita Sheridan 27 years old of 9 Well St apt 322 of Greenfield Mass charged with possession to distribute a class B substance - Bail was set by the clerk of courts at $100 Miki Miyasaki 32 years old of 495A Federal St of Montague Mass charge with possession of a class A substance, possession of a class B substance and possession of a class E substance. Bail was set by the clerk of courts at $1,000 Both were transported to the house of correction
