Alesha Paige based in Scotland shares: How can I help my 4 year old potentially high functioning autistic son learn water safety I say potentially as he is still waiting for his official diagnosis and people have complained that I am labeling him too soon Back to the point We took him and his brother to the park on tuesday and rather than play in the park he spent the morning going back and fourth to the pond he almost fell in 5 times I know that our kids can be drawn to water and I try letting him play in water as much as possible at home but he is still pulled to the water like a siren is calling him so much so he cant even hear me calling him to come back Need some advice as I feel like I cant take my kids out together on my own because I cant gurantee their safety
