Alex has touched so many people in his short life. Being with him every day I often become blinded to the miracle he is. Yesterday in the middle of a gas station just outside of Saskatoon I was reminded of this. Out of nowhere a woman walked up and asked if my son was Alex. I said yes and she proceeded to tell me about how she was a nurse in our hometown who cared for him around his diagnosis and after her retirement she often wondered about him. Its amazing how such a devastating diagnosis like CF can bring people together so much.
