Alison King has revealed that there will be some new characters introduced to Corrie later this year and the actress says she hopes that they meddle with her character Carla Connor because she would love to see the return of Carla’s evil side. Alison confirmed: “A little bird told me that there will be a few new characters hitting the cobbles in the coming months to stir things up a bit, so I’d love to see the return of her evil side!” Talking about her future on the soap Alison told S Magazine: “I don’t know whether I’ll be here forever – I’d love to have a go at different things, like an action drama or love story but as long as I’m happy in the role and the producers will have me, I’ll be staying put for now.”
