All Michigan APF/AAPF World and National meets will be in accordance with the rules of the WPC. All other Michigan meets will follow the same rules in addition to the modifications allowed by the APF Executive Committee for State and Local Meets. All National and World meets held in Michigan will have a minimum of 3 WPC judges and 2 APF judges committed to work the meet. This will ensure the minimum of 2 WPC and 1 APF judge will be on the platform at all times. Meet directors shall submit their intent to the meet director before a sanction will be approved. All Michigan APF meets will have a minimum of 3 Michigan Approved APF judges on the platform at all times. It is the meet directors responsibility to secure MichiganAPF approved judges for any meet held in Michigan. The list of judges a meet director will use will be required before the State Chair will approve the National APF sanction for a meet in Michigan. Meet directors will only act as judges if no other judges are available. The meet director will suggest a recommendation for the head platform judge. It will not be the meet director. If the suggested head judge does not meet MichiganAPF requirements, then the meet director will be given a chance to submit another before the sanction is approved. If this is not successful, then the State Chair will attempt to appoint a head platform judge. The head platform judge is in charge of the platform and all rules interpretations. The head judge cannot be removed nor replaced by the meet director. The only person who can remove a head judge during a meet is the State Chair or his designated representative. This is also true about judging positions and moving judges on the platform. This is a working draft, and subject to change
