All eggs are not equal, even after the banning of battery farms (I once collected eggs for a battery farm, but thats a different horror story). And worth noting, not even organic is holier than thou in the moral stakes. All of which is why I usually look for woodland reared eggs. Chickens were originally forest creatures, and we would do well to remember it if we believe their wellbeing is as important as their egg laying potential.
