All my auto reviewer and auto enthusiast friends, I have a question for you. I recently test drove the CELERIO from MS. However, I am really scared about one thing. Other automatic cars that I have driven demand that you insert the key, turn on the ignition and then press the accelerator, in that order. Until you press the accelerator the car will not move. The BMW X6 even brakes automatically if the car starts sliding. However, the CELERIO demands that you insert the key, turn on the ignition and then move the gear shift to D = Drive. Now, comes the dilemma. The car will not move at 10 km per hour even without your right foot on the accelerator. My question is if my son gets up on the drivers seat just to play inside the car and turns on the car with the key and moves the gear shift to D = Drive the car may crash into something unlike the Suzuki Dzire and Suzuki A-Star that we have right now, which wont move until our foot is on the accelerator and the gear in on first gear. Next, no inexperienced driver will be able to drive this car and my parents will be in an unsafe condition if the driver suddenly decides to leave them in the back seat and hop out of the car for tea while the key is in and the engine is running with the gear shift in D = Drive. Then the two senior citizens may go over a cliff.
