All of our upcoming sophomore, junior, and senior band members and color guard members - we need you to bring your instrument to the band room at 9:45 am this Thursday, June 26th so that each of the candidates has the opportunity to meet the band and provide the students with a teaching demonstration. **Upcoming freshman- DO NOT NEED TO ATTEND. Only the upcoming sophomores, juniors, and seniors, should attend this meeting. The schedule is as follows: • 9:45 am Arrive at band room with your instrument • 10:00 am Mr. Blice will prepare and lead band with warm-ups • 10:30 am Candidate - 30 minute teaching demonstration • 11:00 am Candidate - 30 minute teaching demonstration • 11:30 am Candidate - 30 minute teaching demonstration • 12:30 pm Dr. Bartholomew will meet with the band’s student leaders to obtain feedback With the exception of the student leaders, the band will be dismissed and should plan to have a ride pick them up at 12:30 pm. Student leaders will be dismissed after they have provided Mr. Bartholomew with their feedback about each candidates teaching demonstration. Student leaders should plan to have a ride pick them at ~1:00 pm. Please email me at beverlygore@gmail if you are able to attend!!! Your assistance and feedback is needed!
