All praise be to Allah. Sharing this happy bit of news with all you. Honoured and humbled to be nominated for the prestigious N-Peace Awards 2014. Winning or losing is in Allahs hands, but to be recognized for ones Peace & Media work in a country where whenever I said I am a Peace journalist, people responded by saying Oh you mean a Peace & Conflict & National Security journalist....the feeling is amazing. May be now they will know that I am a Peace-building journalist! They have called me a trailblazer here. But I am honestly a follower of true trailblazers...the unsung heroes of this country who spread the message of peace day after day...in classrooms, in homes, in villages & cities and on media. This one is for the crazy ones & my partner in crime who shared my vision of peace. Oh & thank you, family, for bearing with the craziness.
