All street field workers around Kathmandu Valley united together to celebrate Childrens Day with the children in the streets. Organized by CWIN, Nepal and supported by other parallel working rganizations for the street children, gathered together at The Kathmandu Fun Park, Brikutimandap, for a whole day futsal tournament. The futsal tournament was categorized into two, Group Junior for aged groups upto 15 & Group Senior for aged group 15+. More than 150 street children participated with great enthusiasm to make the program a huge success. The participants were provided with New Jersey as the festival gifts. Though it appeared that the basic goal behind this program was to make children in the street celebrate for a moment, the primary concept was to keep them far from their addictive habits atleast for the day. The program completed in a very peaceful and celebrating environment. This was among the best efforts put in actions in sum by the street field workers from various organizations.
