All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers; but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door; whoever enters through me will be saved; go in and out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. This was more a basic and clear teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ, and is ignored by many pastors and Pentecostal evangelical leaders by the lack of understanding of the meaning of the word mercenary.
