All the Waterford County Councillors voiced their concerns and opposition yesterday at the Eirgrid presentation of the Grid Link Project at the Civic Offices in Dungarvan. A very strong call was made to extend the deadline on submissions from Tuesday the 26th of November to early next year. Neither the project manager John Lowry or his colleague Declan Donnelly were able to comment on that yesterday, so we eagerly await their reply. A great committee was formed at the meeting in Portlaw last night. Public meetings tonight in Ballyduff & Piltown community centres at 8:00 pm. Can everyone please continue to send in the submission letters, share the links to the petition and continue to get those signatures.
