All these videos of people protesting Irish Water, putting their hands up and screaming PEACEFULL PROTEST. its not a peaceful protest, its a bunch of Twats shoving Gaurds, and barriers, and each other, while screaming at anyone nearby. Fine, if you want to protest, do. But do it properly. Sitdown. Dont speak, just have a sign. When you open your mouth, you sound like an absolute idiot. Because what are you actually protesting? The installation of a meter. You have an electricity meter. And if you have gas I bet there is a meter for that too! You dont question them though. Or is it the charges you are protesting? Ya, they are a bit high. Why not organise a protest outside their Head Office? Put a bit of planning into it, and have the whole country turn up? Oh wait, are you protesting having to pay for this service altogether? How about you get a clue? We are not the first country to bring in water charges (England, US, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, etc.). And there are big benefits to it. A set body is now responsible for the quality of the water, and wastewater. If the quality is not up to scratch, you dont pay, or get a refund. Before, you just had to deal with it. Stop acting the twat. /rant end.
