All those fortunate enough to have known this man, will know exactly how much today means to me. This date goes down in history as one of the saddest dates I could ever live through... One I wouldnt wish upon anybody. This man, Sushil Chopra, husband to Padma Chopra, father to Dia Chopra and Deepak Chopra , grandfather to Sahil Choujar and myself, was the worlds nicest man. My worlds nicest man. He taught me to love with all I have, to give unconditionally, to hope, to adapt, to have faith, and to never give up. My memories of my childhood somehow start & end with him... He is all I remember, and all that I cherish. The years he spent pampering me will last me my whole lifetime. I didnt loose a grandfather, but I lost a father when I lost him. And never does a day go by when we dont wake up and think of him. Do we? How different life wouldve been if he were still alive... How I, would give anything to have him back.. But I cant. The most I can do, is be happy, for him, as I know hes out there somewhere, relying on our happiness to set him free.. So Im happy, Im happy that I was lucky enough to grow up under his love and care, Im happy that he was the father-figure I had while growing up, Im happy men like him exist, and Im thankful for everything he did for me... He taught me very early in life how to get by on your own and love yourself, because those you love wont last forever. I wish you were here today. Yours... Always yours.
