All, with the November election around the corner, I wanted to provide you with some information on Proposition 1. I ran across this video that explains Proposition 1 which is on the ballot for your vote. As I have explained, this toll road issue is a result of lack of funding for TXDOT. While I personally am not a supporter of toll roads, I do support new infrastructure due to the population growth in Texas. Proposition 1 will take some of the money directed to the Rainy Day Fund and direct it to the help fund our roadways. This will not completely fix the problem but will help TXDOT close the gap on the money needed to fund our roadways.
