Alleged Ebola Patients from quarantine in West Point and New kru town are now running wild. A case study in in adequate education, in human neglect, incompentence, and corruption. According to the world Almanac, Liberia has a literacy rate of 60-61%. I found that number to be surprisingly high, but then I realize that being able to read and write does not necessarily means being educated Being educated means being informed and aware and have knowledge and reasoning skills. Most literate, illerate, and semi literate Liberians are still stooped in superstitious beliefs traditonally and religiously. Due to mental laziness, we would rather take a superstitious or out of this world religious explanation of physical phenomenon than use our brains to come up with logical hypothesis or explanations of physical phenomenon. It is due to this that most Liberians are still in denial of the presence of ebola. Some see it as witch craft while others see it as spiritual attacks to be fought with prayers and religious affirmations. Our over dependence on religion and traditional witch doctors is impedement to progress. Verily, Verily, I say onto you my fellow Liberians, do not let a delusional or con artist Pastor, Bishop, Reverend, man of God, or a native doctor tell you that ebola is curse from God or your next door neighbor have thrown something (witch craft) on you. Ebola is real and will kill you if you do not take precaution. Follow ebola safety precautions. The incidents at New kru town and West point are the direct result of government apathy towards the situation. How can you quarantine people and not provide medical care or food? Part of the reason people survived ebolo is due to the fact that some in cases blood transfusion and medicines were given to boast their system. If an ebola patient is left without care, that person will surely die. Boosting their immune system helps to fight the virus. So what did we expect to happen in New kru town and west point? These were death camps and not treatment centers. It is unfortunate that allege virus carriers are now at home to infect others and continue the spread of ebola. Two simple moves would have prevented this. 1. provide medical help. 2 provide the essentials of life; food and water. This goes to show the high level of incompetence of the government of the day. Why do you keep people in office when they have already failed to perform? you do so to protect your inner circle and your chop make we chop gang. The government claimed to have spent approximaetly 12 million dollars to fight ebola in the last four months. SMDH. Several millionaires will emerge out of this ebola crisis. Mark my word. Ask government officials heading the ebola task force to show you their banks accounts after the eradication of this virus and you will see why so many die due to lack of gloves and other supplies. Do you have any idea what 12 million dollars can do?
