Allow me to try and mention 8 things that you might not know about me: 1) I would have had an older sister, Susan Beverly, but she died before I was born. 2) I was born in Laurium. Michigan, at the Calumet Hospital, the first of three boys born on May 3rd. 3) My Grandfather John Peter Bosio was a survivor of the Italian Hall Disaster in 1913. 4) I competed in the UP Winter Olympics as a figure skater (my music was Go Down Gambling by Blood, Sweat and Tears. 5) I got to interview Frank Zappa briefly at Northern Michigan University. 6) I was my freshman and junior class president at Michigan Technological University because I received the most votes in our Student Council class elections. 7) I was an intern in the annex office of Michigan Congressman John Conyers in the summer of 1977, while attending a program at Georgetown University. 8) As a member of Blue Key Honor Fraternity at Michigan Technological I was able to help conduct a snowball fight at the University of Miami (the big one in Florida) in March 1979. Benny Goodman of the Miami Carni Gras Committee did a live play by play over a pay phone to WMPL on a Sunday morning.
