Allow me to welcome you all to a society of double standards. In most cases, girls are given some special benefits over boys, just for the sake of their being girls. Now, before you continue reading this boring mini essay, let me make it very clear to you that its not an Anti-Girls write-up. So, girls can read :) . Its just a take on how unequal we are on a whole, when it comes to dress-code @ office. Boys have a dress code: They got to wear formals Mon-Thur, and on Fridays, can put on casuals - still with certain T&C applied. Whereas, girls are free to wear whatever they wish to. No way, Im asking for funky wears for boys on week-days. But, dont you agree that if not all, at least few girls are taking advantage of their freedom, and coming to office in clothes as if they are on some or other picnic. Nevertheless, thats too rare - not more than 1%. So, lets not comment on the dress-code of girls. Wear what you want to. Par hamein bura-bhala nahin kehne ka :) We boys dont wish to be bashed up by our opposite gender :p Anyways, the sole aim of writing this to you all and sharing on our confession page is to ask just one question: Of the below three, which is the best dress-code ? 1. Anything decent enough. Applicable for boys as well as girls, 24*7. 2. Specific formals for Mon-Thur. Anything decent enough for Fridays. Again, applicable for boys as well as girls, 24*7. 3. Continue the same biased way. Girls can check-in as princesses everyday, and boys can continue to look as workers/labourers/staffs. Boys and Girls/Ladies and Gentlemen/Brothers and their sisters - We all know what Right to Equality is. Dont you think its high time we all get that right equally ? Over to you all... -Karan
