There is a small swell that is supposed to come in later today on the north sore but currently it is beautiful. Please check with the lifeguards before entering the water just to check conditions and get some great tips. Continued calm conditions, generally small surf, light winds and great beach weather. Beachgoers should expect changing conditions and potential for currents on North & West shores as a new swell builds later today. Always use caution - esp. when unfamiliar & help is a long way away. Recommended lifeguarded beaches: Kee, Haena, Hanalei, Kealia, Lydgate, Poipu, Salt Pond, Kekaha. Outlook to Tues. May 13: Light winds through the forecast. Moderate NW swell building late Friday.
