Along with todays just dropped article on Valerie Harper, the till now unreleased video of our magical day with her drops, too. BAM! In the midst of of her then-recent diagnosis, and, in spite of it, Valerie Harper schlepped miles, gave up a precious day, to share her story, read to us from her memoir, I, Rhoda, and answer any and all questions we had for her. A more gracious and generous act I know not of. It was a life changing day for those of us present, as I suspect it will be for many who view this video. I knew it was sacred footage and was blessed to get R.A Siposs to edit it thanks to angel, Suzanne Ebner. Ray was worth waiting for. Months had elapsed from the salon to the finished video. I was uncertain when to post it. There are no accidents. Two weeks ago, I learned that a close friend and business associate was diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer. I sought evidence of miracles to offer hope and proof. None are greater than Valerie. Now, a year after her three-months-to-live diagnosis, shes not only thriving, she continues to challenge herself and defy her prognosis and the odds, while offering hope to countless others. This video is dedicated to Champagne Joy, and every human who faces this monster called cancer. Valerie Harper has proven the existence of miracles. May each and every person who needs one, be so gifted.
