Already missing Ole JoJo...called my Nana earlier and almost expected to hear him in the background. I come to realize at times I talk a lot like he did as well as my dad lol. I was around him most of my life. Heard him say a lot of things but I loved to here him say now Ya gettin it or Ya did good ! Keep it up son! He was every bit my grandfather although he was a not too distant cousin to my dad. Both of them never knew a stranger. Both knew Clarendon county like the back of their hand and then some . To me they were both on the same level. What I didnt learn from one I learned from the other . I thank my Lord and my God he blessed me with Dad and with JoJo. Two imperfect men who had such a huge part in my life. Yet God who is wise in all ways used JoJo to have a hand in raising me and my sister as his own grandchildren as he played no favorites and loved our children as his own sons children and like my Dad JoJo always had a way of showing his love. One day Ill see the two but most importantly I want to see my Lord I want to hear My God and Father say welcome home son. And that my family and friends is by having faith in Jesus Christ finished work on the cross . Knowing he did it all for us which leads us to confess our sins to him.
