Alright Folks. Todays the day. I already have my email from Lyft saying my background checks came back clear and I am approved to be a Lyft Driver. I am showered with new smelly stuff, my hair is clean, my nails are clean, ive got fresh clean clothes on. Ive got my best smile on, and the car was professionally detailed. All thats left is to pass an in-person interview today and my first Welcome ride, and I will be an official Lyft Driver. This is huge because I havent had a real job since 2006. I am nervous as hell. Please sacrifice chickens, goats, the blood of small children, say some heartfelt prayers, anything helps! Praise NdGT! I *need* this job. I *need* to be employed. I *need* this job to boost my self esteem and self worth knowing I am providing for my family based on my hard work, and not living off disability like a bump on a log. I will let you know later tonight (hopefully) if ive got the job.
