Alright, Ive got something to say and yall better listen up. I went to that show today and it was one of the best things Ive done in Rio thus far. Its up there with getting tumbled by the waves and dancing forro. I cant stress enough how much every single person in our group needs to watch this show. Its only R$5 for students, which we are, and its just great. Tomorrow is the last show they have at Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil and Im going to watch again. Yeah, thats right. Again. Its too good to pass up. I was smiling throughout the entire thing, laughing quite a lot, and I even cried a little. Its a musical, so obviously its got music, but the music is mixed in with Brazils history with soccer. Dont worry though! They dont talk over and over and over and over and over again about 1950... Thank God! Anyways, it should be made mandatory for all Study Abroad students, but alas, that isnt the case. If I were you, Id join me tomorrow for the last shows at Centro. One show is at 4pm and the other at 7:30pm. And if youre thinking, ugh, I still havent done the readings, or, ugh, Im FLAS, I have sooooo many pages to read, then DONT FRET! There coming to a theater near us. In Tiradentes, at Teatro Carlos Gomes. So theres no reason not to try it out. Ok, Im done for now, but actually not, because Ill be going again. Ok, now Im really done. K bye.
