Alright, Renee ... Here is your second day: Gratefulness Challenge Day Two of Five: 1. I am grateful for my names and why I was named: Isaac because he was a son of promise and so was I, and strangely enough, It was kinda funny that I lived up to the meaning of the name Isaac, which means laughter. John, named after John the Baptist and funny thing, I grew up not caring who approved of me or not, as long as I knew what was right, I did it, no matter the cost... I was, am and will always be fearless... and the name John also means God is Gracious. Beltrán, Old Germanic for Bright/Shining Raven (on our Coat of Arms are the words Veritas Vincit, which is Latin for Truth Prevails). To me, personally, I have been through extremely dark times that very few can relate with and most even die before they can overcome it... but even though Ive lived such experiences, I always found something positive and funny throughout all of it and learned a lesson that brought light and humor to dark situations... which resulted in a great deal of characters and stories Ive created throughout the years. 2. I am grateful for good friends and terrible friends, as I learned from both... the latter shows me, first hand, the misery and lack of peace that lies in the path they chose and have given me an HD display of reasons to not follow in their footsteps. 3. I am grateful for my humor, which Ive displayed through voices, imitations, facial expressions, comics, acting and even through stupid things I dont mean to do. My humor ranges from slapstick, intelligent, dry to dark and lurid as well as things that are deemed offensive. It doesnt bother me that people feel the need to be offended by me... But when anyone genuinely asks me why... I genuinely answer them. =) I also laugh at what I find funny... and expect those around me to do the same to me if I were in the same situation. Humor has gotten me through the darkest times... and so the things I find humor in may be a lil different than what you would find funny... I find that most people grew up with the luxury of not knowing what its like to live through the Darkness.
