Also a few interesting cases of viruses & cases of paralysis. One student at our school came down with a cold and suffered permanent paralysis. It was one of the most shocking things I had heard at the time. Many viruses, including West Nile, echovirus and adenoviruses, can cause paralysis of the limbs. California and Denver, Colorado have had similar cases. The CDC is researching the issue. Both polio and the new virus involve finding MRI spots on the spinal column. What may have transpired over the years of vaccination against polio - one obvious miscalculation - is that the Polio virus vaccination mutated much like antibiotic resistance. It has already been proven that antibiotic resistance, from overuse, is occurring and is now more widespread. Why not polio vaccination over a genetic time line?
