Also going on this week: In the midst of the scramble to find places for our returned dogs to go, we have requests for help pouring in. We are doing our best to fit in as many as possible ... especially one of our champion foster homes who agreed to open their door to this girl. Really, how can we resist this face??? And...Also the 11 little faces that came along with her. This skinny mama dog got caught in a trap, and then shortly after, she gave birth to 11 little babies. The whole family was turned over to an animal control facility where it was discovered that our pretty mama dog is also heartworm positive. Weve had so many special needs dogs lately that funds are rapidly depleting. Bleeding hearts that we are though, we said YES and decided to figure out the financial piece later. Right now, we are in desperate need of PUPPY FOOD!!! Dry and canned, both - this mama needs all of the nourishment she can get while she raises babies. Also high on our wish list: paper towels, laundry detergent, and bleach. All donations are welcomed and very seriously appreciated at this time!
