Gjnana Yogam - Spiritual Knowledge based Realization 2. Vigjnana Yogam Yogam - Scientific Knowledge based Realization 3. Gjnana Vigjnana - Combination of Spiritual and Scientific Based realization 4. Raja Yogam - Ruling based or Public Administration based Realization 5. Vibhooti Yogam – The yoga of manifestation; Talks more about Resource based view of manifestation based realization 6. Karma Yogam - Practice based Knowledge Realization where practices are based on tasks and actions 7. Sankhya Yogam - Obtaining knowledge based on the assumptions of Extended Bounded Rationality towards Boundlessness Thinking – A bridging knowledge between practice and theory; a paradigm of objective thinking in association with subjective knowledge based realization ---- This is approach is more popular and is adopted in India especially by HINDUS, where as Muslims do not wish to include the objective based rational approach to be part of their philosophy. Westerns or Christians and Non-eastern god believers especially believes completely in objective based rational approaches of abstracting the knowledge and consider it as true. So, when Muslims approach is considered highly subjective and theoretical based, Christians approach is considered highly objective, rational and fully practical based where as Hindus follow the hybrid approach naming it as pragmatic philosophy. Their micro level objective achievements follow KARMA YOGA while targeting the goal of achieving the subjective based realization through the belief of Islam’s subjective abstraction through its inclusion. It initially assumes the inclusion of objects and objectives. Their interpretations when extracted out of objects are not believed as it is. They are thoroughly validated. The discretization of the whole (macro) is assumed because of the human limitations in dealing with such scope as assuming ONE HUGE WHOLE as a subjective matter and its processing for realization. So they always consider VEDAS as valuable source of validating this objective level abstracted knowledge while making decisions by looking at the contexts (They call it as wisdom). 8. Devotion (Bhakti) Yogam – Gaining knowledge in terms of preaching and teachings of GOD towards realization Comments on current practices: ========================== Once India has been declared as a secular country, everybody started assuming their way of mixed vegetable curry. As there are many vegetables, the meaning for mixed vegetable curry becomes polymorphic. Some people are even redefines it by adding meat. In order to give unique identification, they started designing visual icons for easy identification for the sake of differentiating them. So each flavor of these mixes gives different taste. These are called manifestations to one realization called human satisfaction through the sense called TASTE. When a specific set of resources such as two vegetables are mixed, they can be manifested in various forms: (i) Curry – when the cooking happens in terms of cutting pieces (ii) Chutney - When the cooking happens to further taking these cut pieces into a paste. It is the same set of vegetables but the form and taste are different. This is how everybody has started representing and associating their realizations of GOD. When one cooks, one keeps a picture of it to understand what are the resources used for the purpose of introducing the factor of transparency. Otherwise, requester feel cheated when their mental image of mixed curry does not match with one that is provided by the provider. Hence the polymorphic meaning associated with term mixed curry is becoming the root-cause that is bringing several manifestations into the human’s real world (This is what the general human being termed as RELIGION). Spiritually, these manifestations are termed in Hindu as ‘Deity’. Hence one finds many deities in Hindu philosophy. Ordinary Hindu human calls this deity as his/her GOD. It is because of the manifested thinking level abstraction of that same one source has been given this kind of appearance by such people. As India is a secular country, one can stop other person’s valid manifestation of beliefs. The comment on the approach of above explanation is: Those who worship other deities go to those deities after death but those who worship Me, attain Me, and come to Me (BG: 7:23). It is a highly philosophical truth based realization that comes to one mind to think beyond these manifestations to think as given follows: Those people who have little intelligence fail to regard Me as the Supreme, indestructible, the Almighty, and un-manifest (not readily perceived by the senses); instead, they regard Me as a mere mortal and ordinary human being (BG: 7:24) --- This is what Muslims strongly believe in. But their approach is to realize the whole as it is at one shot - just like that - without believing much on the incremental approach I guess. Human life has many stages: The abstraction at each stage is different and hence the kind of realization varies. We are talking about for most of the people it is true, however there could be exceptions and hence we call such exceptional cases are special cases. So when we take the average of the regular cases, this is what most of the people would like to consider it as the bench mark level. This is especially true in case of westerners. The conflict and argument is now can be described as, the BG: 7:23 approach is what westerners believe because the abstractions are happening against bounded rationality extracted out of objects and senses. On the other hand, BG: 7:24 says the knowledge is not readily perceived by the senses. Thinking beyond these human senses by a normal human being is becoming difficult. It appears more as theoretical rather than practical. So the whole teaching of spirituality, philosophy, actions and practices etc. is for the sake of realizing BG: 7:24 is what the real goal of every religion. SANKHYA MEANS FINITE, NUMBER, BOUND. Non-violence, even mindedness, contentment, penance, charity, fame and ill-fame are the various states of beings emanating from me only. The seven ancient great Seers (sages), and four Manus also are of my nature and are born of my mind and all other creatures in the world are under their rule (BG: 10:5&6). SAANKYA – the stretch to the letter ‘SA’ is ‘SAA’, this stretch means, beyond the finite, bound i.e. infinite, boundless. Conclusion: Hinduism’s meaning of tolerance comes here. Whatever may be the Deity preached by individual, consider it is an appreciable one first at least at the minimum and basic level, it is because one could reach a level of understanding and achievement of worship through the KARMA (by performing actions and in terms of tasks). Once they understood it, they make an extension to this abstraction i.e. making a travel of intellectual journey from the level of abstraction of BG: 7:23 to BG: 7:24 level. This is what ‘Saankhya’ Philosophy is teaching to us. So, Saankya philosophy believes in extended or incremental approach of realization of GOD or TRUTH. Step of increment varies from person to person according to their intellectual capabilities. After full encapsulation is achieved through enterprise integration approach it gets extended to unification level by adding the semantic layer.
