Although I am no longer a member of the Committee for A Workers - TopicsExpress

Although I am no longer a member of the Committee for A Workers International this is entirely in the tradition of that organisation and one I look to for a political representatives of the working class. The CWI - formerly known as The Militant Tendency - still offers the best analysis of capitalist society and offer a solution to all the ills of a world of poverty, inequality, environmental disaster and hunger for the mass of the population while a rich coterie has too much money, power and influence to cushion themselves from these ills. The CWI is not infallible, -the Red 90s? - but is made up of human beings who as trade unionists, community campaigners and activists, in many countries around the world, from Seattle to Sydney, seek to change the world for the better. Socialism cannot be built in one country alone but the significance of the election of Kshama Sawant in the USA cannot be denied. My talents and skills may not have a place in the changes that are needed but I encourage all those who have health, energy and desire to see a better world to follow the CWI. I remain a socialist, an internationalist, and hope that future generations will see an End to the situation where the masses living on crumbs and a precious few have all the resources. I will probably not see it but I believe it will come.
