Although I didnt make it into the finals last night, it was one of the best performances Ive had yet. I manage to do a full 8 minutes without using my notes, which is a huge accomplishment for me. I know this is corny, but I never expected within 6 months of starting comedy, Ive managed to overcome my stage fright, be invited to perform in competitions and shows, and manage to create a solid 10 minute set. Ive met so many amazing and hilarious people in the comedy community as well (which definitely keeps my Facebook feed more interesting) and Im excited for what the future brings. If there is something you feel you are great at or have a passion for, keep it strong in your life, even if it means taking risks. Itll only make you a happier person. Unless your passion is to murder baby animals and trip old people
