Although I fully respect, I dont understand when people say they either do or do not believe in a god. And I dont have to understand it. But for me there is nothing to believe or not believe in. There is only that line between do and do not and that is where I walk. Not because I cant decide, but because there is nowhere else for me to go. How can we name what we dont know? How can we claim when there is nothing to own? How can we tell a story that is not even our own? All I have ever been able to do is lean into Mystery, because the not knowing is my faith. It is how I get by loving even the assholes and the lunatics. Its how I leave blame at the door. Its how I press inward, because there are no answers to be told. Its how I can see through my eyes alone. Its what at the start of every day that makes me want to say hello.
