Although I never had the opportunity to meet Shandi, I can tell by the many posts over these past months what a wonderful and exceptional person she was. I have watched her battle, all the while reminded of my first husbands tragic battle with the same cancer. I can type that she was brave and strong and battled as hard as anyone can battle. It is a cancer that tricks - giving hope and then snatching it away. Cruel and more unusual than most. I pray for peace on the hearts of her beloved family and friends. I pray the terrible weight of grief will lift sooner, rather than later. I send my prayers up for each of you that loved this amazing young woman. Godspeed Miss Shandi, Godspeed.
