Although Northern part of Azerbaijan is presently an independent Republic, most of Azerbaijanis motherland has been occupied for nearly 90 years by chauvinist fars (so called persians) invaders; Over 35,000,000 Azerbaijani Turks living under iranian political system have been and are deprived of the primary rights such as education in their mother language Turkish (Azerbaijani Turkish is a Turco-Altaic language like Ozbek, Turkman, Tukish from Turkey, etc.) and even using Turkish names for their children. The assimilation process of south Azerbaijanis has been intensified by the deliberate drying of Lake Urmia which would lead to over 10,000,000 native Azerbaijani Turks leaving their homeland to the fars speaking regions of iran which would lead ultimately to a total elimination of a culture, language and this is a criminal act called Ethnic Cleansing; planned and organized for the last 20 years! .....And the world has been mostly just watching this happen! https://youtube/watch?v=loF7Zkjg_m4 — with Aysan Turk Qizi and 19 others.
