Although having to cater to and tiptoe around the delicacies of a specific people group based on their stage of life (single, newly married, career-oriented, new parents, old parents, etc) is getting old (I want to punch political correctness in the face), AND aside from the melodramatic tone this girl takes (broken and defective....seriously?), that frankly, makes me want to strangle ALL 26 year olds (and Im one myself!)......there is a bit of truth here. I believe the principle is applicable to all people: Let me be me and you can be you.
