Although it has only been a week since my mom passed today it was brought to my attention through the beautiful eyes of my children that there is always sunshine after the rain. Carly was elected home room rep and we just found out today that her audition for Select Chorus went so well that she was accepted into that group. This is the first years 6th graders were allowed to try out! And Avery was picked to be on the yearbook committee and has gone back to playing piano! For now watching their excitement and enthusiasm for these small things is making all the difference in the world.
