Although it may be October 5th to a lot of people, in some people’s world it is already October 6th in a certain wonderful man’s world. His name is James Frith and although he is not with us right now in The United States he is in Afghanistan to provide a roof over his families head and food on their table. It is already October 6th in your world and that means it is your birthday, I apologize we could not be together for your birthday but I promise you that when you come home there will be cold ones in the freezer and your Justin Bieber cake in the fridge. You are not only my brother by blood but also my best friend by choice, we have a certain bond that only siblings can hope and wish to have in their lifetime. You have become the man that you needed to be and even made the hard choices that a lot of people could not even fathom to even think about. Not only are you a wonderful brother but the best father to any kid could wish for. We have been slamming doors like gorillas on a football field and making that snaps for the petrol even before we were even out of high school and it became popular. There is not a day that goes by that I do not see something that reminds me of you and makes me laugh and makes me wish even harder that you were here to experience that laugh with. I miss you more than anything James and I wish you were here to celebrate your special once a year day with us. Keep your head up and stay strong or else we will eat your Justin Bieber cake without you.
