Although our salvation is eternally anchored in Jesus’ atoning work on the Cross, I often think we continue to live our lives as if Jesus weren’t living through us. Instead, we live as if sin, wrath, death, and hell still have dominion over our lives. Why is that? Why do we continue to live like that? Because we really don’t believe we’ve been justified. We believe that on the day that we meet God face-to-face and give an account for all that we’ve done that he will not be true to His word. But here’s the truth: It’s not about what you’ve done; it’s about what He did. And on that day when you finally meet him face-to-face He will proudly say: You. Are. Justified. - Matthew 3:13-17
