Although some may nod approvingly, I thought President Obamas remarks on Iraq just now obscene in its bloodless disinterest in a cosmic calamity taking place in a region in which we expended so much blood and treasure so the people could live a better life.(Yes, I believe that.) We dont have to put troops on the ground, just take out ISIS where they stand. He used the word genocide to describe the militants slaughter of innocents, yet he approved targeted airstrikes only to protect the tiny number of U.S. personnel. Obama even sounded grotesquely apologetic when he stated that he had to do SOMETHING to help the stranded and starving Yihivis. Its not just about Iraq and Syria, under President Obama Islamism has spread out to such an extent the situation is far worse than pre-9/11 when Al-Qaeda was in Afghanistan. As I sit typing,an Iraq War veteran/congressman (Patrick Murphy, D) just now on MSNBC stated that ISIS was far worse than Al Qaeda!
