Although there seems to be no season of the year that isnt busy things are about to get even more revved up. From now until Christmas people will be busy busy busy ! And some not so happy happy happy while some seen to thrive on that others are not so happy about it. But like it or not this can be a dangerous time of the year. Im not talking about crime reckless drivers over -spending etc. Its dangerous because it can distract us from the most important things. If we arent careful we will get so caught -up in the rush that we fail to spend quality time with The Lord neglect church attendance shirk our duties and ignore people who need our attention. While its always difficult to keep our priorities in their proper order the next months will be even more so. If church attendance did nothing more than to remind us of whats important and whats not it would still be worth the trip but it does much more Regular church attendance gives us the opportunity to worship learn serve and interact with Gods people. And we all need that all the time. So dont get caught up in the holiday rush that you make yourself miserable. Determine in your heart that you are going to enjoy the season. Slow down connect with others keep it simple and stay focused on God. Thats a recipe for happiness anytime of the year but especially now. Yours In Christ Paster Stone.
