Always act right and be with the right spirit in whatever you do- Ebifa. The delta state commissioner of youth development, Mr. Ebifa Ijomah has admonished deltans and delta youths to always act right and be motivated in whatever they do. The commissioner made this call yesterday in Asaba when the newly appointed delta state caucus of the Nigerian Youth parliament, Abuja paid him and the ministry of youth development a familiarization visit. Speaking unbehalf of the delta state caucus, Okporo Ebi Augustine thanked Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, the commissioner of youth development, Mr. Ebifa Ijomah and deltans at large for the privilege given them to represent delta state in the Nigerian Youth Parliament, pledging that the delta state caucus will pursue policies and programs that will consolidate on the governments three point agenda and promise their support and loyalty to the government of delta state. Admonishing the appointed representatives, the youth commissioner stressed emphatically: theres a paradigm shift today and we now have a youth -government synergy in enhancing development in delta state. The government of Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan has recorded drastic reduction in youth restiveness and the rate of youth involvement in governance and social media advocacy has increased. Woman and youths are are rising up to the challenge leadership and are now vying for elective positions from the hitherto spectator status. Youths are widely consulted and carried along on policies and programs of government. Empowerment and human capital development is on the increase and delta state is on the destination of development. So i congratulate you and I encourage you to pursue people orientated programs, so that at the end of your tenure you could look back and count viable achievements. Charging them to be more proactive, the youth commissioner said: as youth leaders who have distinguished themselves, I want you to look back and smile when you leave youth parliament. Make an indelible impact. My doors are always open , be free to send in your ideas, suggestions and advise on issues that will positively affect youths and Deltans at large. The fourth Nigerian Youth Parliament, Abuja is billed for inauguration by His Excellency President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, with delegates and representatives from the thirty six states of the federation and FCT.
