Am I hearing right???? Did the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago just said that she is giving away 55 MILLION DOLLARS for Christmas to the Christian community???? Look i want the world to know that we have been begging to host a Christmas treat for one hundred and fifty children with Cerebral Palsy and this same Prime Minister is also the Minister of Social Development that refused to approve our request for toys, eats and drinks for these children!!! We were told that ten thousand dollars is the most we could get and it must be used to provide all of the above. Really???? I get more sick and pissssed at how our special needs children are treated with scant courtesy and they only seem to appear worthy of appreciation when its for pr on the government behalf. We wanted to provide a health pack with pampers, wipes etc along with a musical toy and delicacies...but NO!!! Lookkkkk!!!! What i want to say i cannot say....but trust me the stone that the builder refused will be the head corner stone. Spend your money. Its yours!!! We cant get a cent to open work centers for parents. Children cant get wheelchairs and proper therapy but you have 55 MILLION to give away????? Madam Prime Minister I do hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas.
