One of the main creators of President Barack Obamas signature legislation, the Affordable Care Act of 2010 a/k/a Obamacare, admitted to colleagues at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) that Obama and he lied to the American people. Dr. Jonathan Gruber, who appeared on national television selling Obamacare to Americans conceded that in order to gain support for a government takeover of healthcare insurance and distribution it was necessary to avoid transparency. “Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage,” says the MIT economist who helped write Obamacare. “And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really, really critical for the thing to pass.”
