Am I the only person who has a problem with artists making money off of owned properties? Artists making television T-shirts, alternate movie posters of current films, jewelry of iconic media symbols.... these are not public domain. They are properties that have a sea of advertisers behind them. They dont need your help to further their popularity. Also, artists who are making creative and original work are getting left out in the cold, and originality has less and less value. Im not talking about a commissioned drawing; thats a one off. But mass production of someone elses product? Its not right. I dont care how much money the movie companies have, theirs is not yours to capitalize on. Am I alone in this outlook?
