Am back on my feet at long last (after successful knee replacement surgery). I was privileged today to attend a reception for the Code of Support Foundation, which was founded by retired U.S. Maj. Gen. Alan Salisbury and works to engage and leverage the full spectrum of our nations resources to ensure that Service Members, Veterans AND their families receive the support they need and deserve because of their service. The event was hosted at the Watergate residence of John Wohlstetter, author, and think tank scholar who often supports causes and the arts (including the Embassy Series). Code of Support will be hosting a Toast to our Troops event Feb. 12 at the Womens Memorial at Arlington Cemetery.
