Am not a luddite! Technology and its advancement is such a good thing. I embrace n welcome such innovations but see, it has become more of a curse than a blessing! Not so long ago reading was such a culture so much valued that every successful child had to be oriented with and equiped with the right techniques associated with studying. Libraries were (and to some extend still are) a rich flowing oil mine, a gusher where we all went and sought books to dig out information from them. Reading tradition was valued..but today, I wonder! Where did the rains start beating us? We no longer get information from books. We no longer store information in our brains! Everything wed require from a library, from voluminous medical books, encyclopedias, small textbooks to even newspapers and magazines are just a google away! Right inside your pocket! So why would one sit for hours in a library trying to get particlar info from several books while there search engines which give you all the info from different sources?
