Amadeus Awad Started his solo career in 2010. He became well known in the Middle East for his virtuoso guitar playing. In January 2012 Amadeus’s First Full-length release “Time of the equinox” broke through internationally. It featured Legendary Rock Singer “Mark Boals” on vocals, which marked the first collaboration of its kind in the Region. To Promote the first two releases [Ghost Stories EP 2011], Time Of the Equinox 2012] Amadeus Awad went on a regional tour with the live band featuring rock singer Elia Monsef who has performed on one track for Amadeus’ albums, long time friend and band member Patrick Styoutube/watch?v=TJm0-WwURf0ephan on drums, and after several lineup changes Samer Zouein on bass. The Tour Keyboardist Mood Yassine left the band just prior to entering the studio. Amadeus, Patrick, and later Elia entered the studio to work on a new solo album by Amadeus Awad, which later developed into a collaborative work and resulted in the birth of a new sound and a new band. Amadeus Awad’s EON deviated from the Instrumental virtuosic playing of Amadeus Awad, and adopted a heavier Progressive sound. “The Book of Gates” is the band’s first studio album under the new name. The album features new instrumentation and arrangements, unseen oriental elements and most importantly guesting international musicians. So far the band announced working with: • Kevin Moore (ex-Dream Theater /OSI/solo) on keyboards • Timo Tolki (ex Stratovarius/Revolution Renaissance/Symphonia/Solo) as Guest Guitarist • Amanda Somerville (Trillium/Avantasia/Aina/Epica/Kamelot) on Vocals as the Queen • Sir Russel Allen (Symphony X / Adrenalin Mob) on vocals as the Pharoah The book of gates is a concept album telling the story from the land of Egypt, the
