Amazing comeback victory for the RHLL National League 12 year old team Wednesday night. Down 13 - 1, the NL scored 11 runs in the bottom of the 5th. After shutting down the South Farmington squad in the top of the 6th, the NL got a runner to 2nd base with one out. A wild pitch on strike 3 caused South Farmington to have to throw to 1st base for the out. The NL runner ran all the way home and beat the return throw to tie the score. The South Farmington pitcher walked the next batter and then the NL hit a double to score the winning run for a 14 - 13 walk off victory. An excellent lesson in never giving up for the NL squad. All of RHLL can be proud of the fight and determination shown by the NL tonight!
