Amber mckinzie Selvey via Barbara Orr Jones RSC Family, I took this off the Rhythm Alley page so that we can help with this too! What a great way to show your children what it means to pay it forward. . .especially around the holidays! Please consider donating to such a beautiful thing, this family also has roots in the Perkins area. Remember no amount is too small to give!!! I will have a jar in the cheer room starting next week and as you can see, Ms. Barbara will have one in her office as well. Lets pack the jar(s) full!!! Rhythm Alley family, as you know every year we try to do something very special at Christmas for very deserving people. With the craziness of Nutcracker, I was in fear that it would slip by us this year. Then, Kristen posted this video. Kristen grew up dancing at Rhythm Alley. She graduated, went to OSU, and is now a teacher in Agra. Kristens father passed away a couple of months ago. A few weeks after that, her best friend was killed in a car wreck. Through the pain and the strength that she has been given, Kristen is now using her position to help to teach her students about the gift of giving. What better cause for our studio to get behind? Please watch the video that is posted. As a studio, we are going to try to contribute as much as we can during this Christmas season. We are only asking each person to give what they can. We are also asking that the kids are really involved. We will have a change jar in the studio. Over the next week, lets fill it up!! Let your kids help to look for change in your car, the couch, coat pockets, etc. There is no amount that is too small. We will make sure that all of the money is given to Kristen for the Agra assembly on December 20th. Lets support our extended Rhythm Alley family!
