Ambre Maurer update mon july 28. today so far positive although baby steps.surgery on saturday showed no hole to repair but was abcessed area around stomach needing cleaned. still was relief to hv done and feeding tube was put in.every day she appears bit better. It has been a restful few days for her, but she is still not very responsive due most likely to how weak and sick she is, but lung function improving, she has some hand movements, she opens her eyes..which are so beautiful! Yesterday and today she blinked and u can tell she is trying to focus.ventilator still on but settings are lowered giving her chance to breathe on her own and rest when she needs to. Will plan to update if any major changes.so much love to her and keep on prayin...luv ya Ber! With Wendy McAuley and Mikie Maurer
