Amelia is in recovery. Her procedure went as planned. They were able to extract a small amount of fluid from the knee joint, however it is clear...no infection. They cleaned the wound and removed all of the sick tissue and resutured. She will be unhappy to know we are going back in her brace for a time for some healing without stress on the leg. Sutures will be in 2 weeks or so. We now will be focusing on some great nutrition with lots of protein. All things that will enable healthy tissue growth. Please keep her in your prayers today and all the days that follow. Your faithful support has been heartfelt by our entire family.
