Americans hate it when we call football anything other than soccer. To them, the only football is American football. Now, lets analyze this for a moment. You have a sport where both teams try to shoot a sphere-like thing, which usually describes a ball, into the other teams goal with their foot. No hands allowed. That is called soccer. While another sport, in which teams beat themselves half to death over a potato shaped thing with laces, that resembles nothing even close to any ball Ive seen, and they hold that thing under their armpits, and use their foot only once or twice... That is called football? If you ask me soccer should be called football, while American football should be called Armpit potato.
